I swear, at some point I'll make icons of him. He was always SO DIFFICULT to icon, but I feel...determined.

That being said, have this video. It's super awesome. From about nine years ago when he released an album, he did a live show in France, which kills me inside because I'll never get to see that shit. Ugh. But omg, just listen to him sing live (with the exception of his incredibly thick accent and decision to write half of those songs in English), poor thing.

That little head bow thing he does during "If Only" gets me EVERY TIME. Ugh.

And if you plan to read my book, this is just a reminder. This dude inspired Erik's character. Um. Because he is Erik lol

He's truly unique and I should listen to more of his work. Always in the mood to try something new for me, especially when it isn't commercial. Sorry you had to cancel! I think since I turned 30 I have truly stopped worrying about people's motives. For example, my closest friends are people who I never have to second guess their behavior. And if I can't figure someone out I often don't bother. I'm sure you'll meet more people with less puzzling behavior. Hopefully you can still hang out with this young lady. OMG yes, LUSH is brilliant. I used to go in with my friend who is bi. Apparently they let boring old straights like me in. If you're ever in Mpls/St Paul we should go there.

Dude, I have pretty much everything we're aware of that he's done, which isn't much, but omg. I highly recommend the Dralion soundtrack. I mean the whole thing is worth a listen with the exception of Bamboo Poles as it is like no vocals, so...skip it lol. Start there *___*

Nice. I would love to visit there some day. I've never been to Minnesota, so I'd totes like to add it to my list. That's the disappointing thing about gay bars, is the straights. NO OFFENSE lol. I see girls but like, they're almost always straight lol

I agree!! (No offense taken!) I HATE the bachelorette parties in particular because they objectify LGBTQA culture for their own enjoyment in a kind of offensive way. As a straight person I certainly keep a low profile and keep in my place. It's not my scene to own and I have a great deal of respect for the performers. In Minnesota it's very very easy to pick out us straights. Straight Minnesotans do NOT blend in. LMAO! My friend says "you pass as bi" because I dress in a more funky way than other straights. I guess? Anywho, LUSH has an incredible burlesque show run by a very talented and almost traditional performer who's act is very sexy and inspiring. She's a huge figure in the LGBTQA community in Minnesota and just got married to another lady last year. Our MC for that show is a popular drag queen and she's the greatest. Such wonderful and welcoming people at that place. Full of class. And good drinks too! I miss it.

YES. Like, why go to them? I get supporting drag shows, but you should have to wear a dang wrist thing that says you're straight so I don't ogle you lol. Honestly, I couldn't remember if you ever told me your orientation, so I was leaning on bi, too hahahaha

Heck yes, I am making a note to visit Minnesota lol.. Our gay culture here is......weird. And I'm in the south, so...it sucks.
